Lynne began painting soon after arriving in Cornwall with her young family in 1996. She started with watercolour under the tuition of Brigit Sweeney and gradually moved to mixed media, experimenting with various techniques and mediums. She has attended courses with Glyn Macey, Victoria Gillow, Maxine Hart, Jenny Aitken, Jon Doran and Soraya French.

Her love of the coastline and countryside has always inspired her work. Currently she paints mainly in oils and she enjoys bringing a sense of the atmosphere of the sea and countryside around Cornwall through her paintings.
